  • Dr. Yan Razdolsky is well known within the orthodontic community here in the US and abroad! He has published many articles that are on our web site and on display in our reception area; he has invented various orthodontic appliances, received numerous patents and even teaches other orthodontists as well as other dental specialists. Dr. Razdolsky loves to share his small fossil collection with his patients.

  • Our x-rays are digital which reduces the radiation exposure considerably. To establish the accurate diagnosis Dr. Razdolsky has to examine your panoramic, head plate, and wrist x-rays. Do you want to guess why we take an x-ray of your wrist? The spaces between your knuckles will help Doctor determine which stage of your growth you are currently in. These findings will assist him in determining the most efficient appliances and the most effective treatment for you.
  • <strong>What is i-CAT FLX 3-D Cone Beam CT?</strong><br /> The only 3D x- ray on the market which reduces amount of radiation 80% from previous models; Many Micro images/slices are taken in 3 planes. I-CAT software reconstructs all slices into one 3D image. Contrary to the Medical CT where radiation stays constant (1,200 – 3,000 micro-Sieverts per scan!), i-CAT FLX 3D CT produces pulsed radiation. So for 8.9 sec scan the area of interest is only radiated for approximately 2.4 sec; One i-CAT FLX 3D CT x-ray produces same amount of radiation as one to two days spent outside in Chicago.
  • <strong>Why would a patient need this x-ray?</strong><br /> To rule out systemic diseases, to determine the exact orientation of the Impacted Canines, for Implant planning, for Suresmile Orthodontic Robotics, to identify the exact amount of bone covering the teeth, to diagnose the extend of periodontal breakdown, to assist in endodontic procedures, to fabricate one to one replica of a jaw of cranio-facial patient, patients with cleft palate, for pre-Surgical planning, etc.
  • Here’s our brushing station. If you come from school or work, we have disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, and mouthwash for you to use. Dr. Razdolsky is so serious about oral hygiene that he will give you a brushing grade at each appointment. You can earn tokens and collect them to choose from a variety of rewards: water bottles, T-shirts and sweatshirts.

  • This is our sterilization room. Each instrument is washed, cleaned, dried, and packed into separate container just for you!
  • This is our Observation Room! The American Association of Orthodontics recommends that each child be examined by an orthodontist by the age of 7. It is very important for Dr. Razdolsky to be able to monitor the child’s facial growth and development so he offers complimentary OBS exams every 6 months so he is able to step in at the best time when your child needs treatment.
  • Consultation room. Dr. Razdolsky and his Treatment Coordinator will perform thorough examination and will propose best course of action.
  • Suresmile Scanner. Suresmile utilizes proprietary scanning technology to enable orthodontist to visually define the desired position of a patient’s teeth, and helps to calculate all of the customization needed to deliver the doctor’s plan. Dr. Razdolsky’s treatment plan customization is then precisely translated to each patient’s archwires by Suresmile robots, which cuts treatment time by about a third while also improving the quality of treatment results.
